Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is a country music songwriter and vocalist who hails from America. Following the release of two singles and an album titled Satisfied in 2007 she formed an ensemble called Pistol Annies with Angaleena Presley as well as Miranda Lambert and released her 2nd album titled Like a Rose in 2013. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake Shelton in 2015. In 2015, she debuted her debut album, The Blade. This album earned her acclaim and praise. Ashley Monroe holds a position as Assistant Village manager for Riverside Illinois. She has more than 15 years' experience in the public sector, including nearly five-year stints in Iowa City. As the Assistant Village Director she oversees The Community Development and Building Department. The department is responsible for coordinating grant applications and finishing special projects. Ashley is in charge of running the day-to-day operations of Riverside Village and also for implementing the goals and strategies that elected representatives. Prior roles include the municipal planning, budgeting for communications, the management of personnel and collective bargaining as well as focusing on climate change initiatives. Due to her engagement in local and national organisations as well as her work with communities with diverse populations, Ashley has gained an understanding of the complexity of differences and similarities when it comes to the ways public agencies function.
